**🌿 Educational Visit to Dachigam National Park**
Our school recently organized an enriching educational trip to Dachigam National Park for students, offering them a unique opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful and ecologically significant natural reserves in the region.
Located on the outskirts of Srinagar, Dachigam National Park is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, ranging from lush green meadows to dense forests and clear mountain streams. During the visit, students were introduced to the park’s rich biodiversity and learned about its importance in wildlife conservation.
One of the highlights of the trip was learning about the endangered Hangul (Kashmir stag), a species native to this region and carefully protected within the park. Students also gained insight into other wildlife such as Himalayan black bears, leopards, and a wide variety of bird species that inhabit the area.
Guided by knowledgeable staff, students explored designated trails and were encouraged to observe nature closely, understand ecological balance, and appreciate the importance of preserving natural habitats. The visit also included informative sessions on conservation efforts and the role individuals can play in protecting the environment.
The trip proved to be both educational and enjoyable, allowing students to connect with nature beyond the classroom. It fostered awareness, curiosity, and a deeper respect for the environment among all participants.
